About Sunny

Sunny Whitworth is the owner and lead planner of Whitworth Weddings. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama and began her career at Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City, where she worked closely with brides from around the world to help them find their dream dress and collaborated with leading designers to bring custom pieces to life. That experience shaped her eye for design and deepened her love for weddings and the stories behind them.

Sunny’s work is guided by a love for thoughtful design and genuine connection. Her style is classic and romantic, with an appreciation for lush florals, beautiful linens, and details that feel intentional and timeless.

What truly defines her approach is honesty and care. Sunny values transparency and clear communication. She takes on each wedding with genuine intention, giving her full heart to every couple she works with and doing everything she can to ensure their day feels like an authentic reflection of who they are.

To Sunny, wedding planning is more than logistics or design—it’s about creating an experience that feels warm, meaningful, and remembered not just for how it looked, but for how it felt.
About The Brand
Whitworth Weddings was founded on a love of design, connection, and the art of celebration.

Naming her business was more than a nod to Sunny’s last name—it was inspired by her marriage and her husband’s unwavering support. That sense of devotion carries into her work, shaping celebrations that feel deeply personal and centered on connection in its most meaningful form.
